Crocheting is a wonderfully creative (and productive) craft to develop, for not only yourself, but for others as well. The "others" in this case, are babies. Although gone are the days when you see women crocheting or knitting for babies, there are still many people out there who still enjoy this craft. This book features crochet stitches you'll use in this book (although you'll mostly use easy and basic stitches), a baby sizing table, hook sizes, yarn considerations, and of course lovely patterns to make. These patterns include a variety of designs - a little sundress, a t-shirt, booties, caps, and blankets. (The Wild Rose Blanket is gorgeous!) I haven't made baby clothes in years (I used to also make toys) but I recall the joy I got from producing little outfits and giving them away. Now's the perfect time (fall) to stock up on yarn and hooks and to get busy making outfits, toys, or blankets. Even if you're just looking for a hobby, why not be productive and caring at the same time? Sadly there are too many babies who could benefit from you donating what you make. Christmas is just around the corner, the perfect time for giving. You can help keep many little heads and feet warm this winter.

Conclusion - I loved the Rascal Hat and the Cable Hat. A great project book to keep hands from being idle.
