I Had the Strangest Dream - The Dreamer's Dictionary for the 21st Century
by Kelly Sullivan Walden
Warner Books
ISBN 0-446-69603-X
Published August 2006 - Paperback - 385 pages - $14.95

Do you also find dreams confusing, scary, and detached from the norm?  To this day I can't fathom out my dreams (and nightmares) and have yet to remember them, let alone interpret them.  Kelly Sullivan Walden, a clinical hypnotherapist, has put together this book (dream dictionary) to help us, and says, "...understanding your dreams is your rocket fuel to self-realization".  She also "decodes" dreams in this modern world and includes contemporary symbols such as frappuccinos, DVDs, Viagra, and the Blackberry, listing an A-Z host of "things" we dream about and their meanings.  The trouble is however, that there is more than just one way to interpret dreams.  Confusing?  I'll say.  That's why I never get what I'm supposed to out of my dreams - I don't understand them.  Ms. Walden's symbols "have been inspired by Jungian, Freudian, Hindu, Shamanic, and Goddess symbolism, and the miracle of intuition".  She covers Prophetic Dreams, Precognitive Dreams, Recurring Dreams, Integration Dreams, Venting Dreams, Processing Dreams, and Wish Fulfillment Dreams, citing people's dreams and her interpretation thereof.  I loved the dream of the new mother trying to find a name for her baby.
What is the Goddess Queen Gathering all about?  See her book "Discover Your Inner Goddess Queen".
It really is like a little theatre in our mind when we go to sleep - an unrated one.  Visit Ms. Walden's website at www.ihadthestrangestdream.com.
Conclusion - This will become an invaluable tool for all dreamers.

"Thank you so much for the wonderful review of my new book, "I Had the Strangest Dream...the Dreamer's Dictionary for the 21st Century".  Don't worry if you are puzzled by your "strange dreams" (P.S. all dreams are strange).  If you make a point of remembering them, writing them down, and better yet, sharing them with a fellow dream buddy, you will begin to build a bridge between your conscious mind and the vast region of your subconscious mind.  In doing this, your deeper wisdom, higher guidance, and moment to moment intuition will be strengthened."  Kelly Sullivan Walden
