This is not the type of book I would have normally chosen to consider for any art project of mine, but it sounded appealing and I’m glad I picked it up.  Something new to learn!  The thought of folding and “destroying” a book appalls me, but looking through these lovely pages, my mind has changed, especially if “destroying” the book gives it new life as a creation!  You don’t need too many tools and at the back of the book are templates you can use.  Not only are these projects folded book pages, there are other things to make, like a mermaid (separate from the book), a castle, a reindeer, mushrooms, bees, and more.  You can even knit with paper!  Who knew!  If you’re looking to branch out with your craftiness, this might be a good option, and you can probably enlist the help of your children!  I loved the Origami Slipcovers, the Spring Bulbs, and the Pretty Painted Feathers are just begging to be made.  The Paper Birds are also gorgeous, and filled with color and could make a really neat feature.
