Jeff Foxworthy's Redneck Dictionary II - More Words You Thought You Knew the Meaning Of
I love Jeff Foxworthy's humor. I've caught him a couple of times on the radio and found myself laughing out loud. Now Mr. Foxworthy, an author, comedian, quiz show host, producer, and actor, has put together a "dictionary" (this is his second one) explaining (not only to rednecks) the meaning of many words we take for granted and which we think we know. I was surprised that for ages I'd been misusing these words. I was also shocked that I didn't know so many words were nouns and verbs! A couple of words I found worth telling you about, are 'Annual' = "Buy this here Porsche annual be dating a lot of ladies." Or the word 'Jupiter'. Foxworthy's meaning of the word 'Jupiter' = Jupiter stop jumping on the bed." Not brain surgery, I know, but you will get more than just a few laughs and chuckles. Not only does he give the pronunciation, he also uses the words in sentences so that there can be no misunderstanding as to their meaning. How cool is that? Some very funny illustrations - loved them.
