Marley & Me - Life and Love with the World's Worst Dog
by John Grogan
William Morris
ISBN 06-081708-9
Published November 2005 - Hardcover - 292 pages - $21.95

I don't know what took me so long to get around to reading this book, but I'm so glad I made it.  This delightful page turner captivates you from the word go and becomes more enchanting as you progress.  It's not only about John Grogan's dog (puppy), it's also about his own life too.  He intertwines the two and it makes for a wonderfully amusing read.  The dog Marley (pun intended) sounds as though he was the most challenging of puppies, yet lovable and hard to resist.  Reading about the growth of the Grogan family and their homes and neighbors just adds to this compelling story.  We've all been through having a new puppy but it's always fun to hear about other people's challenges.
Conclusion - Highly recommended and a charmingly engaging book.
