With everyone either watching their weight and/or their pennies, it makes so much sense to make your own pizza. Less fat and grease and fewer delivery charges. And it's really not difficult at all. Your choice of toppings are endless and a whole lot fresher too. This book offers everything from a Simple Tomato Sauce to a slightly more complicated Sausage-Artichoke Calzone. However, none of these recipes appear very difficult. I really fancy Pizza with Garlicky Shrimp, Cherry Tomatoes & Parsley, and also Pizza with Salami, Fennel & Asiago Cheese. Do yourself a mouthwatering favor, and look at the scrumptuous Pizza with Pesto, Cherry Tomatoes & Mozzarella picture on page 38, and the Broccoli & Cheese Stromboli on page 96. Yes, you can make whole-wheat pizza dough, and thick or thin-crust pizzas.
Beautifully illustrated. No nutritional guides.
Conclusion - An invaluable book to those wishing to expand their kitchen repertoire and eat healthily.
