Tom Bergeron is a natural television host, and a darn good one. His ability to find a one-liner in a split-second, without being corny, is legendary. Tom is relatively new to me (this decade), but he's been on television for years. He started in radio while in high school and his recollection of how that was is a lot of fun. His quick wit comes through in his writing and it seems as though he's talking directly to you, humor and all. Not only was he a radio host, but he was also into mime (Bergeron? Mime?) which was successful, believe it or not. He moved to television with ease and that's where he's been ever since, deservedly so. Bergeron is most well known these days as the host of America's Funniest Home Videos and the remarkable and amazingly successful Dancing with the Stars series, both of which he fondly talks about. Informative and amusing, tongue-in-cheek, self-deprecating, funny, and Mr. Bergeron imparts good advice, whether he knows it or not. Keeping his temper under control is admirable - things probably wouldn't have worked out so well had he not. Bergeron has a stable marriage and family life and is an example to many that you can make things work if you approach them in a logical and considerate way.
Conclusion - Very entertaining and an interesting read.
