Are you an anxious traveler who likes company?  Do you hate traveling alone?  If you are a 50+ woman and would like a traveling companion, read on.

I am based in Colorado and offer a travel companion service for women who like to travel but don't like to go it alone.

  • If you fancy a road trip somewhere in the States (weather permitting), I'll drive you.
  • A spot of sunshine in the Caribbean or Cancun sound appealing?
  • A train trip in either the States or Canada take your fancy?
  • or, if you would like to visit cities like New York or San Francisco or Chicago, I can help.

You tell me what you'd like to do and I will help you design a personal vacation package to suit your needs.  Whether it's for a four-day weekend, a week away, or a 10-day trip, let me know.  However, I am NOT a tour guide.  I'll probably be discovering new places with you.
(*Please note that I am not qualified to be a care assistant, so regretfully I cannot accompany special needs travelers.)

Destination Suggestions

  • If a trip on Amtrak is up your alley, let me know because I've traveled extensively and can recommend trips for you;
  • Perhaps you'd like me to drive you on the famous scenic Highway 1 drive in California;
  • Maybe you'd like to visit some of the many Missions in California;
  • Fancy sampling Chinese food in San Francisco?
  • Monterey and Carmel are just charming destinations (and Big Sur is closeby);
  • How does an eco-trip to Costa Rica sound?  Spectacular wildlife, great weather, superb coffee, and friendly people;
  • Mount Rushmore and the Badlands are popular destinations;
  • You could opt to see a couple of Broadway shows or try new restaurants in New York City;
  • You can even go to Disney World in Florida;
  • What about a birdwatching trip?
  • Or a trip to some of the National Parks?
  • Short trips to Santa Fe and Taos in New Mexico (weather permitting) are always uplifting;
  • If you like walking around cities, we can also do that (window-shopping is free);
  • You can also choose to visit museums and gardens in various cities;
  • Vancouver Island in Canada is also a great destination;
  • Memphis and Nashville are two fabulous places to visit;
  • Galena, Illinois and Dyersville, Iowa — both places were featured in the Kevin Costner movie Field of Dreams and are popular tourist destinations;
  • Salt Lake City and Provo in Utah are also gorgeous stops;
  • Jackson and Yellowstone in Wyoming are eternal favorites in the springtime (rather busy in the summertime);
  • Perhaps a drive through scenic Kentucky is what you'd like;
  • What about a bit of wine tasting in Napa Valley or Sonoma in California?  Something nice to do in the winter!
  • Visiting the covered bridges in Madison County, Iowa (from the movie with Clint Eastwood and Meryl Streep) is also a possibility;
  • If you like lakes, we can scout out a few to visit;
  • Mackinac Island in northern Michigan is a different place to visit as it's quiet, peaceful, and beautiful and is home to the famous Grand Hotel;
  • Las Vegas is a fun place (I wrote a travel guide on the city!);
  • Even Reno and/or Lake Tahoe in Nevada are great places to see;
  • Death Valley and Yosemite in California are eye-opening places to visit;
  • The good old Grand Canyon never fails to stun visitors,
  • as do the Fall leaves in New England.
  • If the Caribbean is attractive to you, there are the Virgin Islands, the Bahamas, St. Lucia (a hot new destination), Jamaica, and many more to choose between;  I could be your cruise companion.
  • A coastal train trip from Los Angeles to San Diego is a spectacle in itself,
  • or if you'd just like to hop the border to Tijuana in Mexico, that can also be arranged.
  • Day Trips in and around Colorado are also possible, weather permitting.

You won't have to sit alone in restaurants or have to spend long days on your own in new places.
I'll be there to help you on and off planes and trains and in and out of automobiles.  I'm an avid photographer so I'll take some photos of you as well!
I am not up for extensive hiking trips or camping trips, and do not mind staying in inexpensive motels.

Non-options: I do not ski (snow or water), parachute jump, bungy jump, or extreme sports.

I have a clean and current driver's license, a current U.S. passport, do not use drugs, do not smoke, and offer an honest and reliable service.

Don't miss out on interesting and liberating travel trips just because you're afraid to go alone!
