Guilty by Reason of Stupidity
by Joel J. Seidemann

It's not easy finding good books on humor, but every now and then I come across one I like. This one is by a district attorney and is about legal issues. Yay, someone points out the absurdity (and natural stupidity) some dingbats display in life, most of which is laughable because of the insanity. Like the woman who thought David Letterman was coming on to her via "messages" to her on his show. Or the city dump truck driver who backs into his own car and then sues the city. Or the addict who asked the cops to test his drug purchase. Or the severed penis story. Or how about the guy who likes driving around naked? There are so many funny stories that are hard to believe and will no doubt crack a smile. Although not all of the stories originated in the States, I agree with Seidemann, this is the most entertaining legal system in the world.
Conclusion - Funny, and a nice book to have on hand for a laugh.
